The tragic shootings we have seen in places of learning and faith are a reminder that peace and life are fragile. Without working towards a solution to this serious situation of violence ones prayers and thoughts come up pretty empty. Grace to the saints who have gone on before before their time.

Words can inspire and destroy. They can get you fired as well as drive you to destructive behavior. The bully pulpit has caused chaos and as has been seen through history its been a place where people can be worked up into a frenzy. Maybe people should pause before peril ensues.
Some folks aren’t ready for the present or even the future.
There are a lot of days where I wonder where the day went to. Especially on Saturdays and Sundays.
A country without mercy, humanity and a desire for peace cannot be great. When it condones cruelty then it has lost it’s moral compass. All this starts with leadership.
Power can reveal the hearts of men. And what we see can scare the hell out of us.
