Orlando Theme and Resort Parks Closing Due To Hurricane Matthew
It has to be pretty serious when Universal Orlando and Walt Disney World close their parks in Florida due to Hurricane Matthew which has devastated The Bahamas among other places. Thousands of people visit there annually and its a good thing that both parks are not taking any chances with the safety of their visitors and employees. I am hoping for the best down there for the full-time residents who call the region their home.
Fall Break, Not A Thing Back In My School Days
Back in my day there was no such thing as fall break. We went to school straight through from Labor Day to Thanksgiving and we liked it like that way. NOTE I just said “back in my day” holy cow I’m one of those guys now.
This Is My Favorite Park, Coolidge Park in #Chattanooga
Coolidge Park in Chattanooga is named after Charles Coolidge who is a Congressional Medal of Honor recipient. It’s on the North Shore of Chattanooga and is a great place to ride a carousel, have a picnic, watch movies, enjoy a concert and enjoy the the incredible view of Downtown Chattanooga which is right across the Tennessee River. It’s also one of the awesome places to hunt Pokemon.
