I have never understood the reasoning behind flipping someone the middle finger. Not to sound prudish or judgmental but aren’t there other ways of showing displeasure at someone that have more meaning. Perhaps that is the point is to be offensive and crass. Perhaps I have lived a sheltered existence but I think if we all tried harder to get along and be more sensitive to one another that displays of digital displeasure wouldn’t be necessary. Perhaps we need to just chill out and work to be a better neighbor. I don’t know, maybe it’s just me.

It’s Tuesday, Enough Said
Hello friends and fellow bloggers it’s Tuesday. Let’s see how today goes. Historically it’s not my favorite day of the week. To me it is just Monday part-two. Have the best day possible everyone.
Coffee, I need coffee.
Six Word Story
A lot of things are connected.
We Saw Philomena tonight. It’s a great flick
(From Wikipedia) Philomena is a 2013 drama film directed by Stephen Frears, based on the book The Lost Child of Philomena Lee by journalist Martin Sixsmith. Starring Judi Dench and Steve Coogan, it tells the true story of Philomena Lee’s 50-year-long search for her forcibly adopted son, and Sixsmith’s efforts to help her find him. The film was co-produced in the United States and the United Kingdom.
“Easy as Pie” Apple Cobbler
We took this for dessert tonight at my folks for Memorial Day dinner. It’s easy and delicious. Follow soupdiva.net today.
2 cans apple pie filling
1 box yellow cake mix
1 stick butter
1 tsp ground cinnamon
Spray 13 x 9 x 2 cake pan or casserole dish. Dump pie filling and spread into even layer; sprinkle cake mix evenly over apples. Cube butter and arrange on top; sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake at 350 (325 for dark pan) for 45 minutes or until browned. Allow to sit before serving.
(For those who remember Po Folks, this is nearly identical to their cobbler! Of course, you can make this with any fruit you choose.)
