I am on Team Jesus as you may know. However, I don’t believe that it’s appropriate to proselytize in the workplace. Leaving religious pamphlets known as tracts is not a good practice. My experience is that religion at work can be used as a way of singling out people and discriminating based on various criteria.
I go to work to do a job. I don’t go to be indoctrinated and yes indoctrination can go both ways. Sharing your faith should be done by example and action, loving your neighbor and coworker. Also doing a good job for your employer and being kind. I would much rather encounter Christ or any other higher power that way than through a piece of paper left on a bathroom sink. If I ever come across as preachy call me on it.
Close to where I live are two roundabouts. There are others in other places in my city. They are designed to help traffic flow safely but they are confusing. Some drivers really don’t like roundabouts as this graphic would indicate. It’s all funny until someone gets hurt.
I have my own opinions on things. Including sacred cows like politics, religion, and sports. What I feel and believe come from my own experience and quirky take on life. I don’t know if I am in the spectrum but I think I think like someone who is. My hope is to share what I think and be who I am online without a filter. I can say that I am a decent person who is on Team God and seeks to make the world a better place for everyone no matter what. Of course, I am that weirdo who just wants to be free to be weird and welcomed in any circle that will have me.
It seems that Harry Potter movies are the order for the weekend since they seem to be on TV every weekend. You can put them on and let them be the background noise for your Saturday and/or Sunday. If you have seen them enough you know what is going on by the audio and soundtrack. However, every time you watch these movies you can find something new to experience.
Yes, I know Harry Potter’s author and creator JK Rowling is problematic these days but I think her creation has eclipsed her as the creator. I don’t mind being transported to Hogwarts to catch up with characters that have inspired the imagination of kids of all ages.
Keeping America safe is the duty of the military and the intelligence community. Anytime that is compromised we are all less safe. The person holding a high office should be totally responsible for that duty. There is a deep trust in being sure secrets stay secret and if the leader of a nation cannot do that then they are unfit and unqualified for that role. There is no excuse for what we have heard today. Zero. There must be accountability and justice for the accused. Donald Trump is a woefully incompetent, dangerously ignorant of the law, and very bad man. His actions cannot go unpunished if found guilty.
