A Cross-Country Trip, The Rail Is The Way

Daily writing prompt
You’re going on a cross-country trip. Airplane, train, bus, car, or bike?

I believe the most comfortable way to travel is by train. You have conveniences such as spacious washrooms, food/beverages, comfortable seats and some terrific views along the way. We have traveled in Canada by the VIA Rail system. I can say that the two times we have gone from Windsor to Toronto have been easier than if we went by bus. We did use the GO Rail system to travel to Niagara Falls from Toronto. We did take the bus on our last trip from Chattanooga to Detroit, and that was an adventure I recommend to anyone. So I am going to say trains if you have time to get from place to place.

International Women’s Day gives focus to issues such as gender equality, reproductive rights, and violence and abuse against women. I salute all the women in my life who are making a difference and doing good things for the world.

Fresh Friday Cut

Every six weeks or so I get my haircut. I always look better afterwards. My beard gets some attention too.

It’s Friday And The Weekend!

The weekend is upon us and I am very glad. This week has been a long one it seems. Let’s have a good time of resetting and fun good people. Love and peace.

The Wednesday Of Ashes And Dust

Today is Ash Wednesday in the Christian tradition. It’s the beginning of the season of Lent. During this season it’s a time to repent, reflect, pray, and draw closer to God. I served at my churches Ash Wednesday service as a way to begin this journey to Easter. Ashes to ashes. Dust to dust
