I Should Spend More Time With WordPress Reader
I have sadly neglected the WordPress reader where I can connect with fellow bloggers. Lately I have been constantly doomscrolling on Threads and BlueSky. Those sites are proving to be a constant stream of bad news. My lack of attention here is something I do regret. Your blogs are important, and I should do better by you this wonderful community of creative authors and thinkers and contemplative writers.
On The Victrola: Rush – Exit…Stage Left

This record is my Valentine’s Day gift. It was bought at a local record store and is very Canadian but most importantly it’s from my sweetie.
Supporting Canada and Ukraine Because It’s The Human Thing To Do
I am a fan of freedom and truth. Right now, America’s government isn’t doing Canada and Ukraine right. Canada is under threat of unnecessary American tariffs that will do great harm to their people. Ukraine is also at risk of losing land in a peace deal they don’t have a say in at the moment. I will support both countries in their strife and chaos brought about by American aggression. The USA is coming across as a villain right now. Trump fancies himself as a king, and that is the scary part, and no one in his party is standing up to him to say he is wrong. It’s going to be a challenging four years for a lot of people in this country and around the world.
The Martian is The Movie Of The Moment
If you are looking for a good comfort movie, I recommend “The Martian” It’s a terrific film starring Matt Damon. We are living in some dreary times, and this movie is about a man surviving being stranded on Mars alone. There are many good things about “The Martian” including Damon’s performance, themes of survival against impossible odds, hope and teamwork from unlikely sources. Check it out when you can for a good diversion from what is going on in reality.

A Sunday Reflection
Jesus cared about the poor, the sick, the needy, the downtrodden and the worker. It’s a love thy neighbor sort of thing. I would also think it’s also a matter of happiness too. Any political system that does not emulate that these days is not one worth being a part of.
