Many of us live in places where there is an embarrassment of riches. A rich bounty of the best there is to offer is available to a few but many go without. I am not so sure it’s about being blessed but more like greed. The bounty people have to enjoy is pretty amazing but I wish others could experience such a thing. Natures bounty is something to behold in how rich and diverse the offerings out there but it seems only a select few can afford it. As we gather around the holiday table this week may others have access to the bounty of the world.

Hanukkah is celebrated around the world for eight days and nights. Hanukkah celebrates the victory of the Maccabees or Israelites over the Greek-Syrian ruler, Antiochus about 2200 years ago. A Menorah is a special nine-branched candelabrum, also known in Hebrew as a Hanukiah.

Christmas Eve is upon us which means there’s less than a day before Santa is on his way. I hope each of us will keep calm during the chaos that can be Christmas Day. My Latest Linux Desktop – Linux Mint 18 XFCE Edition – #linuxmint #xfce
I am now running Linux Mint 18 XFCE edition. This is a lighter Linux desktop distro which means it performs faster without sacrificing style. The operating system came loaded with the things I need to be productive and to be able to do a lot of cool stuff. One great thing about Linux is that you can make it your own by customizing the look and I did just that. I am pleased with the way things look and function. Open Source Technology like this can be a lot of fun and it doesn’t cost you anything.
