Today’s Throwback Thursday is dedicated to back to school and Schoolhouse Rock is a retro look at how a generation learned on Saturday mornings.
Today the children of my community return to the classroom to begin the 2016-2017 school term. I am reminded of the anticipation and dread that was going back to school. For many it’s seeing their friends daily and recess. Our kids have it tougher today than in years past to compete and to complete their work.
Be on watch for those who will be out and about headed back to the school house, safety is important for the next generation. To all the teachers, students and staff of schools I wish you a great year of learning and growing.
