This show was phenomenal. He did a great number of his many hit parodies and he didn’t disappoint at all. I was impressed by his production and stage presence. He used video, lights and costumes to tell his musical story. He’s been on the road for over 30 years. Yankovic has a large catalogue of tunes and he performed some of his best which made the crowd at Chattanooga’s Tivoli Theatre very happy It was a great night to be a nerd. THanks to my friends Mitch and Alaina and Elizabeth allowing me to tag along.

So I Am Seeing “Weird Al” Yankovic In Concert Tonight
Tonight I am going with some friends to see “Weird Al” Yankovic in concert at Chattanooga’s historic Tivoli Theater. The master of parody and satire has made an impression on the entertainment industry. I have been a huge fan of his for years and this is going to be a great show. His artistry is to take a song and make it his own and to put a unique spin on it. These two videos show his ability to make great music and put pictures with them.
Different Colors Living Together
I believe a problem with the ability to relate to people of color comes from a place of not living with people of color in the same neighborhoods, attending the same places of worship and attending the same schools. People will choose where they live based upon the perception of quality and that often means some sort of economic and to a degree cultural segregation. On Sundays there is segregation in houses of worship mostly because of cultural reasons. I think the ability to relate to someone is living in common community and to think of each other as peers. Walking in someones shoes sometimes requires walking where they live.
If we chose to live in real community it would look like a rainbow with some shades of gray. Living together means living together in all parts of life. Sympathy and empathy are powerful things and you get that through experience and the willingness to do something new. I hope I made sense here.
We All Need To Matter
America needs to do better, one person at a time. I think all lives matter but I have been told that diminishes the black lives matter movement….Well life is temporary and we all need to matter, no matter what.
