According to our calendars its now June. The year is going by quickly it seems. I hope that the month ahead will be great for all of us. We are in the midst of a time of sunshine and fun. Every month has something in store for us and that is the mystery of it all. Friends, lets make this a great 30 days.

Tunes Tuesday – Brooks & Dunn – That Ain’t No Way To Go
I was a student at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, TN back in the early 1990’s and I was becoming a country music fan at the time. I cut my “country teeth” on Brooks and Dunn who were a rising powerhouse duo. This song is one I have great fondness for its soul and storytelling. Ronnie Dunn is a great vocalist who has a classic tone to his voice. Enjoy this blast from the past.
Tuesday, May 31, 2016 – End Of The Month, Wow!
Today is the last day of May, can you believe it? Time flies by when you are having fun or something like that. It is hard to believe tomorrow is a new month with new opportunities. Let’s make it a great day good people and finish the month strong….now where’s my coffee?
A Memorial Day Reflection
Memorial Day is to recognize those who died in the defense and service of our country. I say there were plenty who died physically and plenty who died spiritually and emotionally. Death isn’t just about the body perishing it’s about leaving a part of one’s soul on the field of battle. We must remember those who died in more than one way today. Those who returned from war must be comforted and cared for along with those they left behind. Even those who died in a different way need love, care and support.
