Funerals are events everyone will have. One thing about them is that it will be the last time when you can share something about yourself. Whether you be a person of faith or not you can share your life and what you believe. Music is an important part of that event when you can tell the story of your life. From hymns to rock to jazz what we listened to in life is a part of what made you, you. Get what you want on paper so that whoever is doing your service will know what you want. Until your funeral be sure to enjoy your life and the music that keeps you going.
This was a great meal lovingly created by The Soup Diva.
If you’ve been following me for a while, you know I love Cajun food. While Creole has its own culinary heritage, it is of similar African, French, Spanish, and Jamaican roots and flavors. Creole jambalaya differs from Cajun by the addition of tomatoes; I did still use the Cajun step of browning the meat first (because, well, why wouldn’t you?) Finishing in the oven ensures even heating so the bottom doesn’t burn and the rice doesn’t get mushy. This recipe makes a mess o’ jambalaya for a big ol’ crowd, but you can certainly half it for a smaller crew.

I have been testing Linux desktop operating system distros lately and I have discovered that the world of open source is in good hands. However, you have to find that information out by experiencing it for yourself. Like anything you have to do research and see what others say and then see if their conclusions meet your expectations.
I have both Windows 11 and Ubuntu 22.04 on my laptop. On my desktop, it’s Ubuntu 22.04 and Windows 10. I currently dual-boot them based on my mood and needs. My daily driver is Ubuntu 22.04 because it allows me to connect with others and manage my digital life. The bonus is that I get updates and upgrades without cost.
Many of my friends run Apple products but that stuff is expensive and they update way too often and keeping up is pricy. I am an Android user without shame. I do see way more damaged Apple devices than Android’s out there so there is something to be said about that.
This Artificial Intelligence stuff is fascinating and scary in equal measure. Have we not learned anything from the movies.
And yes, I am a total nerd.

It’s the weekend and it’s time to have a little rest and relaxation. Have fun kids. Let’s do this!
