Phones used to not have caller ID or anything fancy. You just answered it when it rang. These days people screen their calls or just don’t bother with it all. Landlines have been fading away for years in favor of mobile phones or calling over the Internet. It’s old school when you use your phone as a speech-based communication device.
Rumor has it that Spring (in the northern hemisphere) is here. The change of seasons is great but sometimes the previous season just can’t leave. Time is moving quickly so enjoy it all.

A person’s paycheck is a recognition of their work. It should never be used to judge someone’s worth. People who show up to do jobs that don’t make a lot are doing the best they can. Pay shaming isn’t cool and doesn’t do anyone any good. There are many people who need to be paid more than what they make.
Most people are paycheck to paycheck workers. Some folks have to hold down two or three jobs just to make ends meet. Many work long shifts that aren’t 9-5. It’s important to support those who work hard every day, no matter what they do. Pride is more than your paycheck.
Today in Pittsburgh, PA my hometown Chattanooga Mocs take on the University of Illinois in the first round of the NCAA Basketball Tournament known as March Madness. The Mocs played Illinois in this tournament in 1997 and came away with a victory. I’m hoping for a win today too. Go Mocs!
The more you stay in a place the more it changes around you. Whether it be a job, a neighborhood, or somewhere else you see people, places, and things change and there’s really nothing you can do about it. Life moves on, people move on, everything moves on.
I have been in my job for almost eight years and I have seen faces come and go. My roles have changed. Yet I still remain because I have built a career in which I am helping people and saving lives.
The more things change, the more they stay the same is a philosophy I am not sure I agree with. Change is all around you. Don’t get too comfortable.
The work goes on. Life goes on. The thing about it all is you have to adapt and change along with all the stuff. I suppose you hold on to the important things and keep the main thing the main thing.
