As of March 24th, there have been nearly 418,000 cases of the Coronavirus. A little over 108,000 have recovered and 18,600 have died. Those are staggering numbers that if nothing would have been done it would have been worse. Some would rather us return to business as usual sooner rather than later but this pandemic is not over.
This is like a war and most wars are not won in a matter of days or weeks but more like months and years. The need to return to work should come at a time when the rates of infection slow down and treatment is in place.
Until then we have to focus on prevention, care, and a cure. Right now our governments need to step up and create a solution to keep us from losing our homes, jobs, defaulting on loans and that sort of thing. Now is not the time for arguing but action.
Friends this is a long-term event and we must have the courage to face it. There is indeed a new normal and everyone going to hurt a little and we have to be strong and open to doing some things that are different. Inconvenience is a part of struggling through anything.
Be strong friends. We can do this if we come together.
