From the Tornadoes in Middle Tennessee to Coronavirus the work of bringing in blood donors to Blood Assurance the blood bank I work for, has been noble work but damn I am tired. It’s been a very long few weeks. We are fortunate to have people coming in to donate a part of their life force to people most likely they will never meet. The need always continues. Blood can only be made by human beings. Science and technology haven’t figured that one out yet. To all who are working hard during this time may you find rest when you can. God be with you all.

I still listen to terrestrial local radio stations. Yeah it’s old school but it keeps me informed.

Hello Spring 2020. The seasons have changed and time marches on. Have a good day good people.
This whole damned thing has me blue. Depression can be kind of magnified during times like this. We are all trying to make sense of it all. Prepare for worst, hope for best as they say. Sure, pray to God for help but its not the only thing you can do. The world has enough death before this pandemic and its like piling on. As a grown person I know life is a gift and fleeting but still too many people have so much more life to give and the whole thing doesn’t make sense or something like that.
You will enjoy doing something different this coming weekend.
