International Women’s Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity.
To all the women out there be strong, be yourself and keep up the good fight. I’m with you. The contributions you make to the world matter and are making a difference. I believe the present and future will be female.
Monday has returned to our lives and we can make it a good one. We are all amazing and can handle anything. Don’t forget to be awesome during the day everyone! Love, peace, grace and coffee. Have a great day…or something like that.
My friends, life is messy. Every facet of existence is going to challenge us as we go through some mud. Relationships are not for the feint of heart. Our friendships will test us and even come and go. The muck and the mud is where we find ourselves most often dealing with emotions that span the spectrum. We have things in our lives we aren’t proud of and very ashamed to admit. Good people go through bad things and that is a whole other discussion. Whatever you are going through, just keep going. You will get dirty and messy and it will hurt. Making something good means making a mess.
Some other folks were making changes to their blog and I did to today. I am using the Twenty-Sixteen theme and I am honoring the thirteenth Doctor from Doctor Who, Jodie Whittaker by the header image which comes from the BBC. You should be able to read the posts better and the images will be bigger too. Thank you for continuing to visit and read what I am posting.
National Wear Red Day is a day in February when many people wear red to show their support for the awareness of heart disease which is the number-one killer of women. Be well and healthy everyone.
