I’m Not An Angry Old Guy
In case you didn’t know I’m a 46 year old white male. Some people who I share this demographic are angry about the world they live in. They are dealing with a lot of change and status in the world they haven’t adapted to. I get that but getting mad isn’t the answer.
I’ve chosen to live and love and adapt. The future has promise and challenge and possibility if you have the right attitude.
What makes me mad is the inequality, racism, sexism and hate that is so prevalent today. Why do we despite and detest those different from us. Are we so angry about what others have that we fail to see the opportunities in front of us. How long will be too long to realize we need to live and love with all our hearts and soul.
I’m a old guy who is embracing the future and being open to the changing world around us. It’s all good gang.

June 14 is World Blood Donor Day. It’s a great opportunity to celebrate those who give the gift of life and spread the word about the value of donation.
What we see every day around the world is situations where blood is needed for those in need whether it be for surgery or because they have been in a serious accident and require an emergency transfusion or as we have seen in Orlando the need because of a mass shooting. You never know when you will need blood to save your life or even saving the lives of someone you love. Being a blood donor means saving 3 lives with every donation. YABAR – Yet Another Blog About Reblogging
OK, perhaps I am just overreacting and making a mountain out of a mole hill about this reblogging thing.
Here are a couple of ground rules for my followers…
- DO NOT reblog personal posts that include family and other personal pictures.
- Ask for permission if there is something original I have written that sounds academic or poetic or something that could be used to advance my life and career.
- Other posts are OK including my music posts and other posts about current events, culture, etc.
Maybe that will eliminate unnecessary drama and angst on my part. I really wanna play well with others and perhaps have some of my stuff get the eyeballs and ears of others across the blogosphere.
