Escape From Reality

Reality is reality. However, we need to escape from reality to get through life. Whatever helps you escape, do what makes your weird little heart happy. Also, don’t stress out over stupid things. I have a gut feeling that in the years ahead we will all need to do things to help us emotionally get by. Seek joy and engage in the nerdiest and fun stuff you can. Be who you need to be in the moment. Be good to you and to others. Get your head out of this world. Return to it when you are ready.

I am here if you need someone to listen to what’s going on in your heart and head. Love and peace.

She’s Warming Up And Ready To Go!

The queen of Christmas has come. Hallelujah.

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween to all you ghouls, goblins, and witches. Keep it fun but a little bit scary.

Poltergeist – Scary As Hell, Lots Of Intensity

I hadn’t seen Poltergeist ever. I have been a wimp for horror and scary stuff until recently. This film has intense action, corpses, and living people snatching to neither region beyond. This movie is the source code for shows like “Stranger Things”. Ultimately, the lesson of this movie is to be sure to move the bodies when you plan on building houses over a cemetery. Also, creepy stuff can happen when you least expect it. I am glad I have seen it now but man some of the action in this is hard to take. Steven Spielberg remains the greatest storyteller of my generation.

My Culinary Specialties

Daily writing prompt
What food would you say is your specialty?

I love cooking breakfast on Saturday mornings. My specialties include pancakes, waffles, biscuits and gravy, breakfast burritos, omelets, scrambled eggs, and that sort of thing. This morning I made scratch-made pancakes. I also enjoy making basic Italian food like spaghetti. On weekdays I do spam with mac and cheese in about 10 minutes. It’s good to have things you can do in the kitchen so you don’t have to eat out so often.
