A Complaint About Ads In Blog Posts

blog-world

I hate ads in the middle of a blog post. I don’t mind them at the bottom but when you are reading a post you don’t need that “speed bump” to interrupt your reading flow. Ads and click bait seem to be more intrusive and annoying these days.  Grr!

Happy anniversary to me here at WordPress.com. I am glad to be here blogging and rolling with this fantastic service. Thanks to all who have connected with me here over the years. Keep on blogging good people!

Thought Of The Day

It’s very interesting that on this platform strangers can follow your blog and become friends. On Facebook or Twitter you have people you have known for a long time follow you. There is something strange about this too in that someone you think you are supposed to know will follow you and they know some of the same people but you aren’t sure if you know them or not.

I appreciate the strangers here I followed who chose to become blogging friends with me and to accept me for who I am.  People in the blogosphere will come and go but those who stick around become treasured friends.

Sometimes starting fresh with new people can have its rewards.

A Thought About Blogging

Blogging Still RulesThere’s just something chill about blogging and looking at blogs on a desktop computer. Or even a laptop on a table. Viewing blogs on a tablet or a mobile phone isn’t the same. I find it easier to blog and to respond to your posts when the device is bigger. Creativity is enhanced from being at a stationary surface. I know I have mentioned this before but it’s still very much true. Give me the relaxation of being at a desk any day of the week.
