I just wanna check in on you all to see how are things? I hope you are all navigating the choppy waters that is life these days. Hang in there.
I have sadly neglected the WordPress reader where I can connect with fellow bloggers. Lately I have been constantly doomscrolling on Threads and BlueSky. Those sites are proving to be a constant stream of bad news. My lack of attention here is something I do regret. Your blogs are important, and I should do better by you this wonderful community of creative authors and thinkers and contemplative writers.

My future posts will be respectful, but more of what’s going on in my head. Some of it will make sense, some of it won’t. Like many of you, I am trying to figure out what’s going on. Know this, my heart and head are wired differently and that’s awesome, I feel. I am not up for debating stuff, all I want to do is blow off some steam when I want to. Thanks for putting up with my rantings. There are more to come.

Today in Gobblers Knob of Punxsutawney, PA its resident weather prognosticator and most famous groundhog Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow and that means six more weeks of winter. Somehow that seems on brand with this year so far. So I guess we gotta keep bundled up and be ready for more cold weather ahead. Thanks a lot, Phil.
Later today, we will most certainly watch the classic movie Groundhog Day with Bill Murray and Andie MacDowell. It’s only right to do so.
