It’s always cool to get these emails saying my latest blood donation has shipped to help three patients in need. Donating is a great way to help family, friends and neighbors.

Every year on June 14th countries around the world celebrate World Blood Donor Day. The event, established in 2004, serves to raise awareness of the need for safe blood and blood products, and to thank blood donors for their voluntary, life-saving gifts of blood.
If you can donate blood it’s a great way to be a true hero where you live. Thank you!

I gave at the office for the first time in awhile. It feels good to help save 3 lives with each donation of blood. Donate wherever you are because it’s needed.

Donating blood is a safe process even during the age of Covid. Everyone is wearing masks and other safety measures are in place for donor and staff. It’s worth the extra effort to be sure the blood supply is safe and plentiful. Donate wherever you are.

Declared in 2016, the first week in September in the United States is National Blood Donation Week. September is also National Preparedness month, a month to promote family and community disaster planning now and throughout the year.
Blood donors can help in the fight of COVID-19. Convalescent plasma that comes from those who have the COVID antibodies can help save the lives of people infected with the virus.
If you can donate blood or encourage others to do the same. It’s an easy way to help make your community and the world a better place to live.

Coffee in the morning making the work happen. Have a good day good people.
