A Snowy Saturday
Last weekend we were looking at icy conditions but it was more wet and rainy.
This weekend it’s a full on snow event. It’s pretty and enjoyable.
It’s cold so staying warm is the order of the day.
Haircut Day
It was a buzz cut and beard trim day. All it takes is a trimmer to get my face and head looking its best. Thanks to Pam for making me look good.
Lunch at Mimi’s
I love a good Reuben sandwich. This one from Mimi’s Deli in the Hixson community of Chattanooga is quite tasty. Paired with fresh cut french fries makes for a great lunch to power the day’s activities.
It’s Cold Outside
We had a winter weather weekend with a wintery mix of precipitation and freezing temps. Today has started below freezing. It will be interesting to see how the rest of the week goes. Stay warm everyone.
Church On Zoom
Because of the Winter weather threat in the area, my church went on Zoom to have morning prayer. It turned out that the situation was not as serious as it could have been. This was reminiscent of the COVID era when everything was virtual. Thanks to technology, it’s good to have this option when necessary. It keeps some level of routine and connection with the Divine and community. Thanks to Fr. Drew and Deacon Kelly for making this happen this morning.
