Slumber By Numbers

This is a report that my CPAP generates for me in the mornings. It’s cool that my Google Pixel will interface with my CPAP through an app. This information is helpful in me being sure I am sleeping my best for health reasons. I’ve been on the machine for a week and I’m still getting used to it.

World AIDS Day takes place on the 1st December each year. It’s an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, to show support for people living with HIV, and to commemorate those who have died from an AIDS-related illness. Founded in 1988, World AIDS Day was the first ever global health day.

June is Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month #EndAlz

During the month of June, the Alzheimer’s Association asks people around the world to take the Purple Pledge and use their brains to fight Alzheimer’s disease. My grandmother passed from this dreaded disease. This impacts families all over the world and there needs to be a cure.

Receiving and Giving

I’ve learned that when your tank is empty it’s hard to give anything else. You need to fill your tank now and it’s more than OK to receive. Right now im in a receiving mode with selective giving. Balance in every season of life is a good thing.

World AIDS Day is celebrated around the world on December 1st each year. It has become one of the most recognized international health days and a key opportunity to raise awareness, commemorate those who have passed on, and celebrate victories, such as increased access to treatment and prevention services.

UNAIDS took the lead on campaigning for World AIDS Day from its creation until 2004. From 2004 onwards the World AIDS Campaign’s Global Steering Committee began selecting a theme for World AIDS Day in consultation with civil society, organisations and government agencies involved in the AIDS response. Napping The Weekend Away

I must need the rest or something because I took some pretty long naps yesterday and today. Resting on the weekends is a great thing because it does help you for the week ahead but there is so much you wanna do other than sleep but your body says differently. The stress of the week before can really impact your weekend activities. Waking up from a nap is hard because you are comfy and cozy. Resetting for the week ahead can be a good thing to help one cope with the stress that lies ahead. One thing you should never do is apologize for taking care of yourself in this way
