By Monday, I think we will see that President Biden will step aside to allow someone to take the torch to run for president. It is my hope that Kamala Harris will be the chosen one to do it and her Vice-President will be someone who is also ready to lead. If I am wrong I am OK with that. It is being realistic and pragmatic to act now. Loyalty to the country should come ahead of loyalty to a party or person. Too much is at stake.

Brats – The Story Of The “Brat Pack”
In the 1980s, a group of young actors collectively known as the “Brat Pack” starred in movies about the lives of young adults of the era. Emilio Estevez, Anthony Michael Hall, Rob Lowe, Andrew McCarthy, Demi Moore, Judd Nelson, Molly Ringwald, Ally Sheedy, and Mare Winningham were icons of my generation.
Andrew McCarthy made a documentary film that is streaming on Hulu about the “Brat Pack” called “Brats” where he did interviews with some members of the group and others who were adjacent and could speak to the events of the day. McCarthy does a great job of connecting the dots culturally and historically of this special era in the movies.
If you are a member of Generation X then you must see this movie. It will give you feels and remind you of a great time in entertainment and history. Andrew McCarthy did a great job on this. I also recommend it to anyone interested in cultural pop history.

I am a long-time news junkie. Current events have been something I have been interested in since I was a kid. These days the news has become more tabloid it seems. Headlines are clickbait and you have to read things with a good amount of skepticism.
The truth is out there but finding it can be a challenge. Sometimes you have to check out multiple sources especially when you see breaking news.
Don’t believe everything you see on the internet. Keep an open mind to what you see and hear. Comments can break your brain and hurt your heart.
Read all about it but don’t do so with rose-colored glasses.
Me And A Local Celebrity, David Carroll
So a local celebrity came to church today. David Carroll is a local news anchor for WRCB-TV3 (NBC) here in Chattanooga. He’s a wonderful storyteller and historian. David is a great asset to our community. It was good to meet him in person after being connected via social feeds and the like.
Life On Mars – NASA’s Perseverance Rover Lands Today
Science and teamwork come together to make this Mars landing a reality. Way to go NASA and all the other agencies that made this happen.
