In Memory Of Farrah and Michael

Two of the most iconic entertainers of a generation died ten years ago. Farrah Fawcett was a sex symbol and one of Charlie’s Angels. Michael Jackson was a child star who changed music. They both died on the same day, June 25th, 2009. It’s hard to believe they have been gone this long. Their lives continue to influence us daily.

Farewell Barbara Bush

Barbara and George Bush on their wedding day

The Bush family is the greatest political dynasty in American history. I didn’t agree with everything they did in politics but they are decent people who worked to make the world better in their own way.

Tonight this nation mourns Barbara Pierce Bush who devoted her life to service to the country as its First and Second Lady of The United States. Rest in power Mrs. Bush.

Farewell Bill Paxton, Thanks For The Movie and TV Memories

Bill Paxton with Helen Hunt in the movie “Twister”.

I remember seeing Bill Paxton in the movie “Twister” it was the first movie I saw on DVD. He was great as a storm chasing meteorologist. His role as a patriarch of a historic feuding family in the TV mini series “Hatfield’s and McCoy’s” was pretty spot on too. Paxton was also in “Apollo 13” with Tom Hanks. Most recently he was in a CBS TV show called “Training Day”. Paxton passed away at the age of 61 today. Thanks for the great movie memories.

setting-goals-for-2016

This year went from awful to suck to something horrible in 365 days. I won’t miss this year. So much has happened. So much pain. So so much loss. We can’t make sense of it all. Lord have mercy over us all.
