The Queen of Rock and Roll has died. Tina Turner passed away on May 24, 2023, at the age of 83. Her music, her talent, and her story will be remembered always. She is in every sense of the word an icon. Thank you Tina for what you meant to millions in your superstar career. Rest in power Anna Mae Bullock from Nutbush, Tennessee. The stars and heavens will hear your song tonight.
I am a minimalist when it comes to my computer desktop. There are no icons on it other than those on the lower taskbar on Windows 10. The desktop depicted on the right in the above illustration would drive me nuts and I don’t know how people find things with it that chaotic. To me in this situation less is more.
An important part of blogging is how the reader responds. They can’t respond if the typeface is too small or there is too much going on the screen at one time. I have used 1, 2 and 3 column layouts in my blogging career but the two column seems to strike a good balance of information and content with some eye candy thrown in.
The Toujours theme offers a font size that is easy to read along with plenty of blank space it doesn’t seem so crowded. I have used this theme before but I am employing some new ways to display recent posts among other features to make the blog stand out.
