Today is the third Sunday of Advent. Joy is the theme for today’s celebration. The candle is pink which is different from the other three that are purple. We all need more joy in our lives. God be with you all good people. The above picture is the screen we use at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church to produce our live stream of our services on YouTube and the Advent wreath is in the upper left picture.
Just over a week until Christmas. It’s getting close good people.
It’s ten days til Christmas but it’s more like 8 shopping days left. If you want to get last minute gifts shipped you might want to take care of that this weekend. Be mindful and be good to yourself and others.
I often find Christ in the secular world where I fail to see him in many “sacred spaces”.
Drama fuels the world’s raging fires.
I think I have been blogging consistently for 15 years or so. In that time I have never had any post get more than the number of likes I got on this post on the Threads platform which is run by the folks of Instagram/Meta. This post about celebrating Hanukkah has gotten 928 plus likes and 44 replies That is what I call a viral response.
No blog post on any of the blogging platforms I have used has even come close to that number. I even use tags on my blog posts to reach a wider audience. I am just wondering if I have become stale to my blogging audience? This is just something I am wondering about.
