Temperatures are going to be much colder this week. So with that being said my Texts From Dog calendar has something to say about cold weather. It’s quite funny. Enjoy.

I went to a funeral at church today. The person being memorialized was the brother of a fellow church member. Frankly, it was good to go and be reminded of how precious life is. Also, it was good to focus on being there for a friend who is grieving.
Everyone is grieving something these days. Losing someone special is a pain that hangs around for a long time. Trust me, I know all too well.
While I was there at church, I was unaware of what was going on in the rest of the world. Sure, I had my phone with me, but I just kept it in the holster on my waist. Bill, who was being remembered, and his family were the focus of the moment. I was glad to be there because it was the right thing to do. Rest in power to Bill and others who have left us for eternity.

It’s another Friday and the second of 2026. May we try to find some humor in the tragedy of the world. My new Texts From Dog calendar is about delivering a moment of fun. Have a good day and a good weekend.
The Minneapolis mayor was right to use profanity to get his point across. Right now, I feel like profanity and other things are necessary for the moments we are living in. Life depends on it. Decorum is out of the question right now when people are getting unalived and abducted. A strong response is what is needed and if some get offended then that is their problem. Fighting back is what must be done. So dammit, let’s give this all we have. There will be hell to pay.

Although I have healthcare through my work others get it from other sources. Healthcare should be a fundamental human right in the wealthiest nation on Earth.
