Daily Prompt -Sleep Edition

Daily writing prompt
What time do you go to bed and wake up currently?

I go to bed usually at 11 PM on weekdays. I wake up when either my bladder tells me to or the alarm goes off around 5:45. I am using a CPAP it does help but when nature calls you can’t ignore that. Now on weekends bedtime has a little more fluidity and an alarm is only set when there are things to do on Saturday and on Sunday I am up early to make it to church.

Me, And Social Media

Daily writing prompt
How do you use social media?

I use social media as a way of connecting with other people and keeping up with what is going on with my interests. Of course, I comment but in a respectful manner. You have to be responsible for how you use it these days. Beware the comments my good people.

Throwback Thursday – Details

You can’t legally donate someone else’s blood. Only your own.

Throwback Thursday #TBT

Metal lunchboxes were the best lunchboxes. The thermos could have anything hot or cold. For me to get a sandwich and chips was a good thing. Thanks to my mom for all the lunches she made for me as a kid.

Wednesday Wisdom: A Little More Action, Please #WednesdayWisdom

When you say you are a part of something people will believe you based on your actions. It’s my experience that people want to see less conversation and a little more in the doing part.

Doing what you say you will do matters and yes, I am not always good at doing that which is partially just being lazy and being imperfect. Like every other human I am a work in progress. Action is a good goal if you ask me.

However, we have it in us to do things that will draw people into our cause. Setting a good example and being a role model can bring more people to the table which can be oh so important.

Always be that person who strives to do their part and makes a change in the world. It will be amazing in how many people will be impacted hopefully for the better. A little more action, please.

Wednesday Wisdom: Resolving An Issue

Resolving conflicts means taking your issues to those who are causing the problem. Sometimes it requires others to get involved to mediate and help facilitate reconciliation. So much of what we see is airing of grievances in the public spaces that it causes a bigger problem than there should be. Resolving issues requires listening, communication, patience. Sometimes it means a separation or an agreement to disagree but that should only come as a last resort. Hopefully all things are done from a place of respect and dignity. What the world needs now is people coming together when possible.
