Tonight our annual rite of Summer begins as we get to see the house guests of the 17th season of Big Brother US. We can expect the unexpected and twists are a huge part of the game. The cast this year seems more diverse in many ways so that makes for a good season. Julie Chen also known as the “Chen Bot” shall guide us through this season of crosses and double crosses, backstabbing and all the stuff that people do when they are cooped up with people they just met. I can’t wait!

30 Rock: Late To Another Party
We are watching 30 Rock a wonderful little show created by Tina Fey and starring Tracy Morgan, Alec Baldwin Jack McBrayer and Jane Krakowski. You know it emulates Saturday Night Live a little because Lorne Michaels produced it too. Yes we are late to this party too, like we were Firefly.
Binge Watching Blues
The thing about binge watching a series that lasted one season is that you want more. However there is no more. That makes you sad, mad and glad you went through it. At the end you have the binge watching blues.
Firefly, you were amazing. You had heart, action, adventure and fire! Now I need a good weep.

Farewell David Letterman, Thanks For The Memories
Tonight an era in late night television comes to an end as David Letterman has his last show as host of “The Late Show”. His storied career has been one of entertaining Americans for over 30 years. He came to CBS from NBC where he was host of “Late Night”. Stephen Colbert replaces David in the Fall. Thank you David Letterman, Paul Shaffer and the CBS Orchestra for your years of making our nights a little better.
