I have friends in Florida and family in the Carolina’s. This is going to be a tough couple of days. We haven’t had a really bad Hurricane in the US for some time. Evacuations have begun in the region. For many this is old hat but for others this is a really scary event.

I lived a good part of my life in Florida. Hurricanes can be so devastating. Praying for all the residents, and a safe and timely evacuation.

Living about 3 hours inland from the Gulf of Mexico, I know all too well what hurricanes bring. Sometimes it’s….meh and sometimes it’s MEHHHH. Here’s to minimal damage and no loss of life! (And minimal power outages….)
