The nearby Aldi grocery store had a blend of preppers and regular shoppers. It was interesting to see the social dance happening here today. It seems the sensible thing to do today.

Wow, they picked it clean. Not sure I’ve ever seen an Aldi that depleted on stock.
Btw, I love the title of this post. Very clever.

There were some dry goods available. It’s getting pretty empty there.

Really feeling for the poor who can’t stock up ahead. Prayers for us all though!

Oh, I agree. Also those who are furloughed due to the closure of public spaces, theme parks, sports venues and that sort of thing.

I’ve been to three grocery stores today in Toronto and it was the same. I’ve never seen anything like it! We got hit with SARS here worse than other place, Y2k…and I’ve still never seen this before. I really feel for people that aren’t able to stock up financially and for those that are getting laid off because of shut downs.

Yeah, I heard many of the Toronto tourist sites such as Casa Loma and CN Tower are shutting down. Seems to be a serious thing. I love Canada and hope for the best there.
