It seems some folks enjoy being a total buzzkill when people try to dream about a better tomorrow. It’s like they want to be mired in the muck of life. Has the world stopped dreaming of possibilities in favor of a stark reality that makes the world a less better place. I am confident in saying that people deep down want something different but they have given up the notion it could actually happen, I think everything is possible we just need a change in attitude and perhaps latitude.

Shrove/Pancake Tuesday
Tonight I made scratch made pancakes with some ready made sausages for the observance of Shrove Tuesday. This is a time where people consume all the high fattening and rich stuff in their homes before going into the season of Lent. I am a huge pancake fan and enjoy making them for breakfast on Saturday mornings to any chance to bring them into the supper realm is always good.

I support PBS/Public Media in America because like many in this country were raised on it. We need this service available to ALL Americans. The 2019 budget does not include funding for public media. It’s a vital and necessary resource to provide quality instructive Television to everyone.

How Episcopalians Celebrate Mardi Gras #episcopal #mardigras
Tonight at church we celebrated Mardi Gras 2018 early with a party featuring great fellowship, food and fun. We had jambalaya and a traditional king cake. A king and queen were crowned too and they will reign until next year! Of course we parade of sorts by taking a turn around our church hall. St. Peter’s Episcopal is a fun place to be during seasons like this.
The Place Where I Want To Live
I want to live in a world where there is enlightenment, expression, beauty, storytelling, art, music, love, passion and peace. Not a world where people are trying to kill each other on the streets and from a thousand miles a way. I believe that knowledge is power and that power must be used to make life and the world a better place for everyone. Our world needs to be a place where people can be well and breathe easier in an environment that is free of hostility and conflict. Instead of walls build bridges and keep family and community connected. This is the world I so desperately want to live in. A haven, a utopia, a paradise, a place for all.
