Wrestling With God

Sometimes you gotta wrestle with God. He’s All Elite if you ask me.

Survivor 50: In The Hands of The Fans

I am a big fan of the TV show Survivor, and It’s celebrating its 50th season with some of the greatest players ever. Jeff Probst is one of the great hosts in TV history, and he is bringing the heat. This year, the fans are in control of the game and so far they are being tough. Survivor is a cut-throat game, and that makes it great. It’s going to be fascinating to see who will be the greatest soul survivor.

Kevin Bacon Instead Of The State Of The Union

We are being entertained by the great actor Kevin Bacon instead of watching the State of Disunion Address by the Fascist Dear Leader. For our entertainment we have chosen “Tremors” and “He Said, She Said”. Two different movies but still two of the six degrees of Kevin Bacon.

Daily Prompt – My Autobiography

Daily writing prompt
You’re writing your autobiography. What’s your opening sentence?

The answer to this question is… If you are reading this, I ask why?

My life doesn’t seem to merit an autobiography. So I would ask, why are you reading this. I am flattered by the interest, but isn’t there something else you could be doing with your time. My life is pretty boring. We all have our stories, but mine in retrospect wasn’t all that exciting. Sure, I have a blog, which is a chronicle of my life and what is going on in my weird head that is wired differently. I have no plans to pen the story of me.

Friends, I do want to say, thanks for your time and attention to my blog and a most eclectic compilation of posts.

My Lenten Read – Living Well Through Lent

This Lenten devotional book is what I’m doing for Lent. So far it’s a good read which is something because I’m not much of a reader. My bishop The Rt. Rev. Brian Cole is featured this first Sunday of Lent. I’m looking forward to seeing what is coming up as the season goes by.
