Sometimes the beast is not the evil one. There can be wickedness in beauty.
To make a change in the world you have to be intentional and make it a priority in your life. This is something that you can’t do through the whole “thoughts and prayers” bit. It means rolling up your sleeves and getting your hands dirty. Giving your time and talents means more than writing a check. You are the master of your schedule not the other way around and there is time to make a difference in everyones life.
It’s pretty remarkable how mean some folks can be when someone does something out of the goodness of their hearts that might not be perfect or what they had in mind. Throwing criticism around is a easy thing to do these days. Granted in some situations you have to call things like you see it but for the most part the opinions of others can come across as destructive. Seems like the harshest critics are ones with a Internet connection and a social feed. There is the forgotten art of gratitude it appears. Sad.
This dish was delish. A great combination of tastes and textures. Thai food is really something special.

I left my phone at home this morning heading out to breakfast. So I was without it for most of the morning. We survived as a civilization for thousands of years without them so it should not be a big deal. One thing this does is forces you to interact with others, to pay attention to what you are doing and frees you for things like real life conversation. There is a feeling of vulnerability without it because if an emergency were to take place it would be difficult to get help or to notify ones family/friends. Sometimes forgetting a phone is a good thing while other times you don’t know what to do with your hands.
