Cheese contains a chemical found in addictive drugs, scientists have found. The team behind the study set out to pin-point why certain foods are more addictive than others. Using the Yale Food Addiction Scale, designed to measure a person’s dependence on, scientists found that cheese is particularly potent because it contains casein. The substance, which is present in all dairy products, can trigger the brain’s opioid receptors which are linked to addiction.

My New Dick Tracy Watch From Samsung
For Christmas, Santa Laura got me a Samsung Gear watch that pairs with my Galaxy S5 phone. It has a few useful apps and extends the functions of my phone to my wrist. I am calling it my “Dick Tracy” watch after the comic strip of the same name where the lead character used a really cool watch to communicate. I can take pictures, answer calls, get notifications, use Evernote, Feedly, listen to music and other cool things. I really like it. So I would like to thank Santa Laura for putting it under the tree for me.
On A Rainy Night Like This
Happy Christmas Good People
I hope each of you have had a great Christmas day. To those who don’t celebrate I hope you enjoyed your day doing whatever was on your heat.
For me it’s been a time of celebrating with family and enjoying being together. We went to my parents house to celebrate the day by having breakfast, opening gifts and having Christmas dinner. It has been very rainy here which has made things very interesting. I am kind of tired of the weather lately. I am ready for some dry days where you can get out and about.
My friends, thank you for sharing my day and for your feedback. It’s days like this where blogging is quite awesome.
No Politics on Christmas Day
I am refraining from any political commentary today. This is about the Prince of Peace who came as a child to show us the way of love, justice, mercy and hope. Grace and peace to each of you today.
