Confirmation Class At St. Peters Episcopal

On Sunday we are starting a confirmation class at a nearby Episcopal Church we are interested in. This class will help us know more about the local church and the greater Episcopal church. It will last six weeks and could lead to us joining. I am excited about getting started and seeing what God might have in store for us. We have been visiting some churches locally but are settling down for awhile. It should be fun.

Pesto Ranch Chicken with Root Vegetables

This is what came from our slow cooker tonight. It was savory, tasty and easy to prep. Plus it will feed us for about 3 meals. Try it out for yourself.

Here’s What Keeps Americans From Cutting the Cord — The Motley Fool

Very slowly, Americans are cutting the cord with traditional pay-television providers. It’s not the mass exodus that has been predicted, even though the alternatives to cable and satellite are extensive, convenient, and inexpensive.

For some this is a real choice to paying for both TV and Broadband at the same time. I still prefer to watch shows on a real TV and watching as it comes over the air live. Many folks will get a old school over-the-air antenna to get digital TV channels from their local broadcasters.

Doctor Who, The New Season Starts Tonight!

ItIf it's Saturday...It's Doctor Who is a high holy day in the nerd/geek community today. A new season of Doctor Who is upon us. The Doctor and Clara are here to save the day. I am excited to see what adventures await. The one thing about this show is that it is fluid but also stays the same which is interesting for a time traveling Time Lord. I predict tonight is going to be good on BBC America.
