My Middle Name

What is your middle name? Does it carry any special meaning/significance?

My formal name is Anthony Leon Burgess. The name Leon comes from my maternal grandfather, whose middle name was also Leon. I bear his middle name proudly because he was a good man who I looked up to throughout my life. I also like the way my name flows, too.

Something About Not Wearing Suits

President Zelinskyy didn’t wear a suit to the White House, and he is a hero. Maybe we need more people who don’t wear suits, getting things done and making the world a better place. It seems like some people in suits are making the world worse.

Right now, the free world is being led by people who stand up to bullies and to those who are fighting for freedom against tyranny and unprovoked attacks. Also, may I add those not trying to economically damage allies. At this moment in history, it’s not The President of the United States and by extension The United States is in a dark place, and we need someone to see the country through.
