In ones mourning we should always remember those who are mourning too for one reason or another. The suffering of people doesn’t take a break. Loss is timeless and universal.

Before I Forget, It’s August 2018
August is a great month because its my birthday month among other good reasons. Let’s see what its got for each of us. Live your best life or something like that.
Something About Heaven
Heaven, paradise or whatever your tradition calls it, whether its cannon or not is not important in this discussion is a place where people go to live their best lives in eternity. It is important how we treat others here as to practice for the after life. I believe its a place where we can do the things we love and break bread with other saints. There is room at the table for everyone and God has set a place for each of us to be in communion with him and all the saints that have been there awhile. It will be a surprise who will be there waiting for us all. The here after begins in the here now.

Saying Farewell
Today I will begin to say farewell to a beloved family member. Visitation at the funeral home is today and the service is tomorrow. Saying farewell is never easy but the knowledge that the loved one remains in one’s heart through the love and lessons they shared is comforting.
The funeral home experience is one I have been through many times over and its good that people are trained to help get you through so you can begin to grieve. It’s truly amazing who you see during the visitation. People you haven’t seen in a very long time will make their way to give their respects.
I am ready for the days ahead and I am grateful to be able to give respect and honor the life that is in the company of saints. Death is a part of life and what you do between your date of birth and your date of death means everything. Live so there will be great stories on the day of your own celebration of life.
