Campaign season is going on here and other places. Local, state and federal races are happening including a very ugly race for The Governor of Tennessee. Not sure the correlation between the size of the sign and candidate ego.
I’m ready for this to be done because the races are being run with plenty of attack ads on television too. Thank goodness for the mute button. Can we end this please?
We need to transform our fears into hope. Maybe things would be much better for every one of us. Just saying.
I saw Dwayne Johnson’s new movie “Skyscraper” today and was throughly entertained. He is the great action hero for the days we live in. This movie shows off his range of being tender, passionate, fierce and strong. He is out to rescue his family from a 200 story high rise in Hong Kong (that’s all I will reveal about the movie so no more spoilers).
This is a nod to movies of its genre such as “Die Hard” and “The Towering Inferno” among others. The movie has strong females too including Neve Campbell who plays his wife, she is formidable as well. Set in one of the great places in asia you get sucked into a whole new world and culture which makes it all the more interesting. I recommend you see this on the big screen its worth your money and a little over an hour and a half.
America was at its finest when we aimed for the stars in a previous generation. We were inspired to use our brains to achieve a goal of going to the Moon. Rockets were used for peaceful purposes of exploration. Science and a little bit of faith got us past Earth’s atmosphere into a whole new world where we would sail upon celestial seas.
Today my iron rebounded so I could donate blood at work. Yea! I was going to wait until Monday but on a whim I decided to give it a go today. Amazing what 24 hours will do.
