The History of The Demise of Records From A Local Perspective

A lot of people are going back to vinyl. Records and record players are becoming more popular after being absent for a long time. This report from 1991 might have been a bit premature as to the demise of the LP. For many audiophiles records can’t be beat.

Tonight I am going with some friends to see “Weird Al” Yankovic in concert at Chattanooga’s historic Tivoli Theater. The master of parody and satire has made an impression on the entertainment industry. I have been a huge fan of his for years and this is going to be a great show. His artistry is to take a song and make it his own and to put a unique spin on it. These two videos show his ability to make great music and put pictures with them.
