There have been two buildings that have been a part of my life for many decades. One is an old burger and shake shop and another is an old dry cleaner business. Both buildings I have driven by daily for years. This week, both buildings have been torn down. Granted, they had seen better days, but still, there was a comfort in seeing something not changing buildings hanging on.
Now there is much change happening all around, and I find myself to be highly sentimental and a little sad because of it. The Dairy Gold in the picture above is where my wife and I had our first date. It closed many years ago and was a place where a glass artist set up shop.
I will remember both buildings with great fondness. Farewell Dairy Gold building. Farewell Dry Cleaner Building.
Personal Note: I plan a post on me being a highly sentimental person soon.
Back To The Future is one of my favorite movies. It was released on June 3, 1985, which makes it 40 years old. It is so hard to believe this classic film is 40, that is the funny thing about time travel. Thank you for the movie magic, memories and timeless adventure Steven, Robert, Alan, Michael, Christopher, Lea and Crispin. As Huey sings, it’s about the Power of Love.

Time marches on and I look different don’t you think. I like my current look, I call it dork mode with an attitude.

I took the picture on the left two years ago. The one on the right was taken today. There is not much different other than less hair and more facial fur.

This was Netflix and Chill before there was Netflix. We still have a VCR at home. Be kind and rewind.
