I am back in the office after being on family medical leave due to my wife’s emergency surgery, recovery and rehabilitation. I worked remotely for a couple of weeks too.
My wife returned to the office today too and she is a bit nervous as to be expected. She is still healing and requires wound care by me and home health. Let’s hope the rest of the week goes well. It’s been a long road but we have made it through.
Thanks to everyone who has been there for us during this time. We are grateful.
After pondering what my last post on data centers was about, I can think of some alternative data centers that would be helpful in our communities. We need properly funded and stocked libraries and other places of knowledge where people can learn and grow using technology that isn’t destructive or invasive. Data centers wreck everything around them. Making human connections in community centers and the like. Artificial intelligence should have more human-centered actual intelligence built in to give it some balance.

May your Monday and any work you are doing be purrrrrrfect. Have a great day good people.
There is nothing like a rainy Sunday to calm and cool things down. It’s also a time to rest and renew before the upcoming week. This week is going to be an eventful one for a few reasons. So, it’s nice that we get a chance to chill. Now our dog doesn’t get that point very well; you can’t have perfection all the time.
From Wikipedia: National Donut Day or National Doughnut Day, celebrated in the United States and in some other countries, is on the first Friday of June of each year, succeeding the donut event created by The Salvation Army in Chicago in 1938 to honor those of their members who served donuts to soldiers during World War I.
No matter what flavor donut you have, may it be a sweet celebration of fried dough. Also, a coffee of your choosing makes it even better.
