This morning, after church, the church was prepared for Christmas. Today was the last Sunday of Advent, and we are now focusing on the Christmas season which lasts 12 days (as in The 12 Days of Christmas). St. Peter’s is Ready for the big days ahead. I hope your preparations are going well.

It’s Winter Solstice Day 2024

According to Wikipedia, the winter solstice, also called the hibernal solstice, occurs when either of Earth’s poles reaches its maximum tilt away from the Sun. This happens twice yearly, once in each hemisphere. It’s also a day to welcome the beginning of winter. Stay warm everyone!
