Something About The Impact Of Opinions

Everyone is entitled to their opinions. But when those opinions come from a place of harm or hate, then it goes into something more dangerous.

I see racism, homophobia, transphobia, Islamophobia and antisemitism as being very harmful. Those systems of hate are dangerous to people who are our friends and neighbors. I do not abide any of that. We cannot let the opinions of people who come from a dark place to create chaos. If you are keeping up, people who are speaking out are finding themselves in danger.

It’s time to show love to one another and to have the opinions that welcome, include and promote understanding. It’s the only way we will survive. Love your neighbor and yourself while you are at it.

Something About Stephen and Jimmy

Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Kimmel are heroes. Calling out the madness that is America is needed now more than ever. We need their voices to tell the stories of this country at this time.

Colbert’s show was cancelled last month. Jimmy Kimmel was pulled off-air due to comments about Charlie Kirk on last night’s show.

This has gone far enough, but I am not sure what to do. Freedom is on the line here, folks.

Rest In Power Robert Redford – All The President’s Men, A Masterpiece

Legendary actor, director and humanitarian Robert Redford passed away on September 16, 2025. Tonight we are watching “All The President’s Men” in honor of his life and legacy. This movie is about Bob Woodward played by Redford and Carl Bernstein that is played by Dustin Hoffman, who investigated the Watergate story in the 1970’s that would result in bring down Richard Nixon’s presidency. It’s a masterpiece that starts intense and finishes strong. It’s a terrific film with all sorts of intrigue and tells the story of hungry journalists getting to the bottom of a serious story.

Life These Days Is Like A Fire Hydrant

I have to say, there is so much going on in the world that it feels like we are drinking from a fully open fire hydrant. The world has gone crazy, and it’s one thing after another. I am overwhelmed by it all, and it doesn’t seem to be getting any better. That fire hydrant is coming at us quick, and it feels like we are drowning.

Every day the news of the country and the world seems to be getting worse. Joy seems to be in short supply.

I don’t want to be tested in life like this. I feel bad for the people who are worse off than me, and it’s like two fire hydrants for them. Every day feels like a week, and every week feels like a month. Something has to change, and I don’t know when it will. Grace and peace to us all.

The Gilmore Girls of Stars Hollow

So, for the fun of it, I am checking out Lorelai and Rory Gilmore, a mother-daughter duo from the fictional town of Stars Hollow, Connecticut. Gilmore Girls is a cult classic TV show that aired from 2000-2007. The show featured a blend of humor and drama. It was the flagship show of The WB Network and finished its run on The CW.

It’s good as a dude to check out new shows outside my wheelhouse. I have checked out the pilot and the first episode. It’s a good show. I will give it a few episodes.
