Congratulations to Canada’s Mark Carney, who was elected Prime Minister on Monday, April 28, 2025. His Liberal Party won 169 seats in Canada’s Parliament and will form a new minority government. His experience as an economist and banker will serve Canada well. I think he will do good things for Canada and the world.
He will have a lot of work to do to make his country a better place and to respond to economic and sovereignty threats from the United States. As an American, I support him fully.

Today is the Federal Election in Canada. I am hoping for the best with a Mark Carney win. No matter what, Canada has to unite to fight the menace south of the border.

Right now, in reality, the College of Cardinals are about to begin this process for real since Pope Francis’ death on Easter Monday. There is a lot of Vatican politics and palace intrigue in this film, as one would expect. It’s also about faith, relationships, trust, and the Catholic Church’s traditions, and rituals that guide this film.
“Conclave” features an all-star cast of Ralph Fiennes, John Lithgow, Stanley Tucci and Isabella Rossellini.
