I haven’t been here long but I have some great bloggers following along. Thank you for taking time to check out the ramblings of this dork. We all have a passion for being creative and sharing a part of our lives with the world. There is a great energy in the WordPress community and I am enjoying myself here.

I like to have fun while blogging, its cool to have a good time blogging in community. However, I have a serious side and my blog at times will be newsy and more information driven. A part of my philosophy is to be relevant and to post about the events of the day. Current issues that are in the news and the blogosphere are important things to me as a blogger. I am a news junkie and there is a lot going on in the world that affects us all and I want to share it with you.
To me what happens in the world is interesting. There is drama of all sorts in reality. Sometimes you can’t escape from the situation of the world that surrounds you. I guess as I get older my blog posts will have a more serious tone. Friends I need you to remind me of the fun side of blogging where you find the less serious things in life to share.
It is now May 2015 which is hard to believe. April sped by rather quickly but time marches on. We have new opportunities to do amazing things. May we all have fun this month.

I think this thing called blogging is a great way to share a thought you have in the moment. For me its a way of chronicling the events of my life. There are times when I have to say something and to get feedback from people outside my head. It’s important to have a creative outlet where your voice can be heard.
All I hope is that I have something people are interested in hearing. My experience with blogging is one where there is something worth posting about if you pay attention. I tend to take a “breaking news” approach to my posts where I want to blog in the moment. Some folks like to accumulate thoughts and ideas and do one big post but for me if I don’t get it out there it will just disappear.
I do appreciate the contemplative approach to many bloggers here. They are thoughtful, deliberate and focused about what they post and it shows. Maybe I can get there one day.
I think I will be doing more blogging here at WordPress. Somehow Tumblr has become overwhelming and perhaps a less tolerant place. Perhaps focusing on writing and being creative with a community that does that by nature will be good.
