The message of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. is to be mindful of the needs of others especially those who suffer from the effects of hate, racism and economic injustice. His call to action through non-violent means remains the same today as it was yesterday. He also said to keep moving forward and that is something we all must do for everyone until everyone is free at last.

My friends, it’s the weekend and I am glad. In full disclosure, I did take today off so my weekend began at quitting time on Thursday. It’s always fun to do that when you can rest, renew and do a few things you want to do. I hope you all have a great weekend whenever it starts. Let’s have some fun!
There are times when I am down and don’t want others to be down, so I find it within me to be positive. It’s hard but worth it. However, I do know that an empty cup cannot fill other cups that are empty too.
