Surviving The Moment, Looking To The Next

Making it minute by minute just to survive one thing to another is the rule of the day. Whether it be your own situations or those you love and care about. Everyone is going through something today if they could just make it through tomorrow is a possibility. Struggle, suffering, life are all things we must endure at one time in our lives and we must see that play out in the lives of people who we love. The grownup thing is to face it but if you are like me hiding my head in sand to avoid the reality of the moment is what we want to do most. Courage is the call of the day. If we can just get through the night we can see tomorrow and hopefully realize the possibilities of that day.

Survive the moment so one can look to the next.

You Haven’t Written Anything Yet

This popped up on my WordPress composer and it got me to thinking about writing something. Is writing nothing sometimes better than writing something just to write something. This very post could be described as just posting for the sake of posting. However writing is a sacred thing to many and quality of posts are better than quantity.

It is amazing what can inspire you to write about like this notification. Interesting.

Then there is this where WordPress is encouraging its members to keep on blogging. A philosophy I can get behind.

The Land Of I Don’t Know

I live in the land of I don’t know.

You live in the land of I don’t know

We all live in the state of not knowing

I don’t know what my point here was…

Hey friends, enjoy your weekend…whenever that might be. Love and peace to you all good people.

Won’t You Be My Neighbor

Fred Rogers who was known as Mr. Rogers sang to children of all ages “Won’t You Be My Neighbor” for years on his show Mr. Rogers Neighborhood. It’s a classic reminder of a call to friendship.

Who are our neighbors? Well everyone you meet. It’s more than the people who live around where you live. It’s important we understand that because it makes the world our neighborhood.

In my faith loving your neighbor as yourself is a serious thing. Offering people grace and kindness can be a tall order because there are some folks you like and a few you don’t like so offering them both love can be a challenge. We can be exhausted in being nice but it’s worth it.

My friends you are my neighbor just for visiting my blog. Liking my posts and commenting on them are a plus. For me, treating you all with kindness and being nice is something i’m hard wired to do. It’s also an extension of my extending grace to everyone. I do believe there are some who needs more grace and kindness because their lives have been tough.

Thank you for being my neighbor.
