A Thanksgiving Thought #thanksgiving

AAA-2016-Thanksgiving-Travel-Forecast-610x330

Today in America its Thanksgiving and its a time of feasting, family, friends and hopefully fun. It’s a tradition that has spanned generations. People coming together to express what they are thankful for is the rule of the day.

Yes, this holiday is not without its baggage. Sure there are stories of mistreatment and anguish in recorded history. We cannot ignore those facts because it would not be respectful to those who have suffered.

However, we can remember the problematic stuff and forge a way forward that recognizes the best of what Thanksgiving can be. In the times in which we live its good to have something positive to say and to remember the good times in our lives.

For many, it’s hard to be thankful and that is where we can come in to help provide experiences that they can hold onto.

I believe this holiday is one of redemption and renewal for something good. Happy Thanksgiving to each of you, far and wide.

Comment And Wait For The Feedback

I do my best to comment on the posts of fellow bloggers. However, I follow a lot of blogs and its impossible to comment on all of them. Know if I like your post I acknowledge your contribution and if I can bring value in offering feedback I will do so. I take my connections and communication seriously and I value my friendships in blogging in the same manner. The lifeblood for a blogger is feedback.

Keep on blogging and if you haven’t posted in some time please take some time to get everyone up to speed on what’s going on in your world. Blogs are to be living and breathing documents. I can’t wait to comment and like what you have to say.

I Don’t Hide My Weird

I wave it around as a beacon to my fellow weirdos.

Bloggers are weird by nature and that is a good thing.

Having My Say

When I criticize my country I am told to leave if I don’t like it. That sort of argument is stupid. My country is broken and doesn’t work for everyone so therefore I will say so. It is my right to have my say provided by the constitution that allows them to carry weapons of mass destruction. There’s a lot wrong and it has to be fixed.
