Bell Let’s Talk is an awareness campaign created by the Canadian telecommunications company, Bell Canada, in an effort to raise awareness and combat stigma surrounding mental illness in Canada. Although I’m not Canadian I think this is worth promoting due to the seriousness of mental health issues that are impacting humanity around the world. To my friends in Canada I encourage you to talk and listen. Be mindful. I admire you very much Canada for this effort.

Remembrance Day a memorial day observed in Commonwealth member states since the end of the First World War to honour armed forces members who have died in the line of duty.
To all my friends in the Commonwealth of Nations especially Canada and The United Kingdom your sacrifice is remembered.
To all my friends in Canada celebrating Thanksgiving today I hope you have a wonderful day of togetherness, feasting, and reflection. As you gather think about the tough days of the past and work toward a better future. Truth and reconciliation can be found around a table while sharing a meal. I know I am thankful for Canada. Have safe and peaceful day with your family, friends and others.

September 30, 2021 marks the first National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.The day honours the lost children and Survivors of residential schools, their families and communities. Public commemoration of the tragic and painful history and ongoing impacts of residential schools is a vital component of the reconciliation process.
I’m not Canadian but this time of truth and reconciliation are universal and every nation have their own issues with the treatment of indigenous people and the sadness of how they were oppressed and removed from their homes and land.
